We are currently managing increased demand for our services.  Please read the information below to help us manage this safely and effectively.

Please do not come to the practice without initially making contact by telephone if at all possible.

NHS 111 Online Service

For patients concerned that they may have coronavirus or may have come into contact with someone who has, the NHS 111 online service has created coronavirus pages that tell patients what they should do based on their particular circumstances.  These can be accessed at: https://111.nhs.uk/service/covid-19

Appointments at Bracondale

In order to minimise the risk of exposure to coronavirus for our patients and staff, we are now making an initial telephone assessment of all patients prior to offering face to face review where required.  At the time of booking an appointment you may be asked to provide brief details of the reason for your appointment - this is to ensure you are contacted by the most appropriate member of our team.  Please be aware that we may not be able to offer an appointment with your usual GP at this time.

Children's Surgery

We are currently continuing to run our children's surgery each day between 12:00 and 12:45.  In order to help manage demand and minimise the risk of please could you make telephone contact with the practice prior to attending. 

Waiting Room

We are aware that many patients are anxious about attending healthcare settings at this time.  Should you need to attend the practice for a face to face appointment we are supportive of the option for people to wait in their cars or separate from others outdoors.  Please provide details to the reception team of where you will be waiting and how we can contact you when you book in for your appointment.   

Prescriptions

We are trying to minimise unnecessary footfall at the practice.  Requesting repeat medications using our online services and nominating a pharmacy to whom we can send your prescriptions electronically is simple to do.  Please contact your local pharmacy or the practice in order to put this in place.
